Graduate students enrolled in CS 494 may elect to receive 500-level credit instead, and may register for CS 594 - Section 28568 instead. Students taking the course as CS 594, however, will be expected to do a few oral presentations (as assigned by the instructors) on selected topics throughout the semester. Such presentations may include demonstrating examples of concepts discussed in a previous lecture, providing more background information on a specialized topic, or a brief software demonstration using Perl, C, or C++.
