Currently working in this model as a Research Assistant with Dr. Sergey Gavrilets. The tentative article title is "A dynamic model for the emergence of coalitions", and is roughly based on the models described by Bonabeau, Dugatkin, Hemelrijk, Strauffer, etc.

The model simulation is already in version 3.12 and working. A number of empirical experiments are still being performed, and some analytical data is being recorded. Also, some extensions are being developed on demand.

As a by-product of this research, an algorithm for fast computation of cliques in an undirected graph is being developed with Dr. Michael Vose. It is still in a very early stage of development, but we are optimistic as for the results... we will see.

The article is still in pre-draft status, and the first exposition will be given tentatively on April 20th for the TIEM group. The hour and place are still to be confirmed.
