You'll be getting computer accounts--the login name will be your NetIDs, and you'll get
initial passwords.  The labs will usually be Tuesday & Thursday, in Ayres Hall, and the lectures
will usually be Monday & Wednesday.

We'll start you off creating web pages:  ideally, by the end of your stay at UT this summer you'll
have some web pages relating to your projects.

We'll also show you a bit about using Excel spreadsheets, and also some programing elements with
Matlab and perhaps Python.

I teach CS 100 Introduction to Computers and Computing.  This is basically a computer literacy
course--it covers the basics of computer architecture, web pages, Excel and Access, and it also spends
about 6 weeks teaching the Python programming language.  If you go to my home page (shown above)
there's a link to my CS 100 page--or you can go there directly: my CS 100 page.  There are lots of links
to other pages I created--information about binary numbers, web pages, JavaScript, all kinds of things.
Feel free to wander around and browse.  You'll see samples of cascaded style sheets (useful for web
pages), how you can do tables and lists in web pages, frames, etc.
