At the department's lunch on Tuesday, December 3 closing the fall semester, Department Head, Bob Ward awarded the 2002 Fall Kimberly-Clark Scholarship to Dustin Parr. Dusty's extracurricular activities included: a Resident Assistant this past summer for the Governor's School for the Sciences (top high school students across the state converge for an intense period of focused education), an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for our CS140 course for the past two semesters, and a member of the Dean's Student Advisory Council for the College of Arts & Sciences. Even with all these extra activities, he has maintained a 4.0 GPA.
