03/16/2007: University of Tennessee Captures 2007 Math Jeopardy Regional Crown
A veteran University of Tennessee, Knoxville team broke out to an early lead
on its way to winning its second regional crown in three years at 2007 Math
Jeopardy Contest held at Statesboro, Georgia on March 16th and
17th. The Jeopardy contest was part of the Mathematical Association
of America — Southeastern Section (MAA-SE) annual meeting. Sixteen math teams
representing regional colleges and universities throughout the Southeast
competed in event held on the campus of Georgia Southern University.

Berry of the University of Tennessee's Department of Computer Science spent his 2004 Spring Break in Mérida, México as a guest of the Department of Mathematics at the Universidad Autómata De Yucatán (UADY).
