I have joined Myricom. I am a Member of the Technical Staff (as are most people at Myricom ;-) ).

Previously, I worked as a Research Leader for the LoCI lab. In 2002, I received my Masters degree from the Computer Science department at the University of Tennessee.

Projects

LoRS - Logistical Runtime System

LoRS is a set of command line tools and a C api to create and manage exNodes. The new tools include lors_upload, lors_download, lors_augment, lors_trim, lors_refresh and lors_ls/lors_stat. The C API provides more flexibility for dealing with exNodes and sets of mappings.

L-Bone - Logistical Backbone

The L-Bone is a resource discovery service for IBP depots that provides selection by proximity and machine room characteristics as well as network performance forecasting between IBP depots using NWS.

IBP - Internet Backplane Protocol

Although I do not work directly on the IBP code, I work closely with the developers. IBP is the foundation of Logistical Networking. It provides network storage and computation that is sharable and scalable. To see how much Internet2 traffic is handled by IBP, see ibp_traffic.gif.
