I used to work for UT/ORNL (Oak Ridge National Laboratories)
maintaining The Performance Database Server at Netlib (UTK/ORNL), BenchWeb, the Netlib Conferences Database and the Netlib Discussion Forum
, which was really quite educational. Before that I was on a GREAT
cooperative education job at Lexmark International in
Lexington, KY. I met some cool people who will be friends for
life. If you are in college, I highly recommend checking the co-op
program out. It's a good way to break up the semesters too, if
you're feeling a little burnt out.
Right now, I'm trying to reassemble my life after moving to Huntsville and learn object oriented programming and relational database configuration/management systems (RDBMS).
I am also spending a disporportionate amount of time going to Atlanta and Memphis, or entertaining friends when they come to visit.
When I'm not doing any of the above, I'm playing Fallout and Final Fantasy Tactics. I usually try to squeeze in sleeping and eating, but they sometimes don't make it.
