Often times, the cgi scripts the we write in out labs get
started by the student, but for some reason (buggy code) never die.
This has brought tyco to its knees several times. We are instructing
lab assistants to kill any cgi process that are running longer than
1 hour. If you could please tell everyone from now on to name their
cgi script 494-lab4.cgi (or whatever lab it is), this will aid the
lab assistant in deciding if it should be killed or not.
If you have any questions, see me.

got the message...am forwarding it around...we will start doing this for
lab 5+ so that no one panics for lab4
