DICE

Dendronic Image Characterization Environment

Summary

DICE is an object-oriented software environment for image characterization using dendronic image signatures. It is developed in C++, Java, and C. It has an easy-to-use GUI and extendable library for computing dendronic image signatures. Users can use DICE to compute dendrones from images, reconstruct images from dendrones, and retrieve objects from images using there dendronic signatures. Currently, the library uses a distance-to-centroid signature to compute object's shape. Other methods can also be incorporated.
