Questionnaire

Regarding

The Covenant Between

Presbyterian College & Synod of South Atlantic

Let us explain....

At the June 1, 2004 stated meeting of Trinity Presbytery, a resolution was passed expressing concern over recent actions and proposed actions of Presbyterian College in South Carolina. Presbyterian College, which lies within the bounds of Trinity Presbytery, is an institution of the Synod of South Atlantic and continues in covenant partnership with our synod.  That covenant partnership was renewed in 2002.

The resolution calls for a consultation concerning what it means, in a practical sense, for "Presbyterian College to be 'a church-related institution committed to the Christian faith,' and a college 'related to the Christian Church' in the context of the Presbyterian Church (USA)."

The Council of Trinity Presbytery is asking that congregations and individuals in the Presbyteries which make up the Synod of South Atlantic answer the following questions and submit them so that their answers may be tabulated and used to clarify and strengthen this covenant.

First, please indicate which presbytery you or your congregation are a member:

Now, indicate your opinions by clicking on the appropriate buttons; then press "submit".  Thank you!
