Middle-Earth: The Wizards is a collectable card game from Iron Crown Enterprises (ICE). If you're not familiar with collectable card games in general, let me explain...no that would take too long, let me sum up: Collectable card games are a unique blend of trading cards and games. The cards are sold in packs, but no one pack contains the same cards. In addition, some cards are rarer than others and therefore more difficult to aquire. The game has rules like you've never seen -- it's nothing like poker or bridge or anything like that, it's much more complicated. Each collectable card game (CCG) has its own unique rules, so if you buy a new one you have to spend time learning a whole new set of rules.
The best thing about these games is that your opponent will never have the same cards that you do, so you never know what to expect, each new game is different.
The Middle-Earth: The Wizards (METW) card game is based in the world of JRR Tolkien's works The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, so you can get Aragorn cards or Thorin cards...or even a Smaug card! If you'd like to take a look at the rules for the game, check out ICE's online rules .
If you already play the game, but have some questions about rules,

question that's not answered in the FAQ, either send e-mail to

(and be sure to include [METW] in the
subject line so people will know what you're talking about).
