Hi, I just recently installed and started building my own MUD with SMAUG...and of course this site has been where Ive found all my info..just as a suggestion...There should be a bulletin board to exchange/ask ideas....I tried to sign up for the email list, but I havent been ok'ed by the list owner yet..and I hate cold emailing the programmers..without being able to search for the answer myself...

Hey, a great site that's helped me with SMAUG.
Only problem is I've been wanting to add stuff
to the MUD, so I got the source instead of the
binary this time (this is all for windows), and
I can't compile it.
I noticed this link on your links page, but
it's a 404: http://garwain.betterbox.net/winsmaug.html

I would like to say that your page is helpful for novice builders, and that the layout is very well integrated. This page will become one of the best when you have more to work with on the SMAUG coding issues. Keep up the good work.

I like the mud but would like to see you add in the option of eating and drinking or not eating and drinking. hope someone reads this. you also forgot to put lordrom in the download, so there is no imortal. I couldn't find any real documentation on how large the mud can become. If any1 can point me in the direction to some of these thing that would be cool, i wish to redo from nearly scratch. This smaug has come a long way in a good direction and hope to see it continue to grow strong :) thats all for now, and give thanks to the great creators out there.

Ok, I came to this page with hopes up thinking I would learn
how to run smaug under windows, only he left that part
*** BLANK ***
So that was a miserable FAILUR, so I turned to the documents that came with smaug only to find that every single fricken file they told me to click on was mysterioulsy *** GONE *** for some god knows reason I did'nt have any of the files they told me I should have, Second of all, if this mud would maybe stop trying to make the stock code "PERFEcT" and actually work on their directions a little bit more people would use it, Second: The directions says the the latest version is like 2.4 but its really like 4.7 so what a crock that is, then it tells you how to install it under unix, then when explaining how to install it in windows, they keep talking about, well this would happen in windows, this would happen in unix, when they ALREADY WENT OVER WHAT HAPPENS IN UNIX and its CONFUSING AND IF I EVER OWNED A MUD LIKE THIS ID SHOOT MYSELF IN THE HEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
