Welcome!

Every now and then I do something useful on the computer beside read Digg and Slashdot. I've managed to pick up Objective-C and have started writing apps for my Mac. I don't mind sharing what I've done and giving something back to the Apple community.

WidgiPets
WidigiPets are my first foray into Dashboard widgets. My daughters asked me to make them something and so I tossed this together one day just to see how widgets work. It's a cat and dog that make various sounds when you click on them. Nothing Special, but the kids thought they were funny.

I'm a professional developer ... I get paid to write software for Windows. That said, you'll probably never see a piece of software in this section. Frankly, I am dissappointed by the direction MS has taken the industry, mostly by their ability to produce crap and have people just accept it as being good enough. But it's not good enough, there's better out there, and people are starting to see it. I'm sick of the bugs, virus issues, malware, and just plain security issues in general with the platform. Stick a fork in me because I am done... Windows evangelist, I am no more.

Currently I have an iMac G5 and a 6 year old Dell that my wife uses. When the Dell dies or when Windows need to be reinstalled, yet again, the machine will be put to rest and replaced with a new Mac mini. I'm sold on Apple, they get "it". Will you?
