Hey, you've made it here. Welcome to my world. This page is mainly for my family and friends both in Russia and in the States. It helps me to keep in touch with them (where would we be without the Web?), so come back and visit often.

You are wondering who I am, well here goes... My name is Svetlana Mironova (was really hard to guess, right? since it says so on the top of the page), my friends though tend to call me Lana (easier that way). I came to the States in 1996 from Moscow, Russia. I have done a lot since then, had 2 wonderful children (will not disclose their name for privacy reasons), got my Masters in Computer Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in May 2003 (GO VOLS! Thus the orange colors on this page - cannot help it, sorry) and now I am working as a Portals Analyst at International Paper Co. in Memphis, TN.

I am also a soccer MOM (go check out my daughter's team page MFC Girls.com that I have designed) and a regular MOM (see the math site that I keep going to help both of my kids with their school math Math4School.com). You can probably tell that I am a little of a computer geek too - like to design web pages and make them look pretty, and other hacking stuff too - but that is what you become after you graduate from Computer Schience, I guess. Well, I do other stuff too - when I have time- I like to paint and knit, I watch soccer, and I spend as much time as I can with my family.
