FYS 129: Poker is for Chumps: Learn the Game of Bridge
While Texas Hold 'Em is a hugely popular card game, it's basically a
lame exercise in card strategy played by chumps who wear sunglasses
indoors. In contrast, bridge is a fascinating and complex game that
is superior to Texas Hold 'Em in every respect. Learn to play the
game that was a major form of recreation in the days before the Wii
and X-Box, and be transported to the enchanting world of duplicate
and tournament bridge. No experience is necessary -- just a love of
competition and strategy.
This seminar meets: T 11:10 - 12:25 in Claxton 202
