Maintain and develop the award winning University of Tennessee web site by: creating UTK building locator and on-line campus map, developing an online version of the UTK Admission Viewbook, creating an online version of the Tennessee 101 course evaluation booklet, designing Knoxville area information page, programming CGI scripts, addition of robust search engine, and answering e-mail sent to UTK webmaster. Designed and implemented a Web-based application for dynamically entering course related web sites into a central web page for enhancing access. Spec server hardware for university web servers, university-wide course management system, and university-wide web search tool. Coordinate the process to select and implement a university-wide web search engine. For these projects I utilized the following hardware and software applications: scanners, Adobe Photoshop, OmniPage OCR, UNIX, HTML, Javascript, and PERL. Taught courses on HTML forms and various software packages to faculty. Maintain SUN Solaris server for UTK web site, university-wide search engine and university course management system.

Developed FoxPro relational database for Oak Ridge Technical Services programs of Technology Transfer. Added fields, developed reports, and screens. Worked with staff to add new programs and resultant table files to existing database. Redesigned database to add two new technical services programs with separate table files for program specific data and utilize a pre-existing database for common data as the central table file.

Administrated FoxPro relational database for Oak Ridge Direct Assistance programs of Technology Transfer. Redefined main active table file of pre-existing extensive relational database application. Worked with staff to add new programs and resultant table files to existing database.

Installed MAC HTTP, CGI code and HTML code on MAC Quadra 800 server to allow WEB access to Filemaker Pro database.

Administrated FileMaker Pro database for the National Machine Tool Partnership. Developed screens and reports, defined fields, and worked with users on desired modifications. Maintained server and administered computer usage of database and UNIX accounts for all users at the five sites around the USA.

Developed a database using FoxBase+ for Forms group to contain information on the 25,000 forms used by LMES and DOE in Oak Ridge. Runs on Macintosh server using EtherTalk with AppleTalk File Sharing. Developed documentation for future maintenance of database and handout for end users.

Changed network used for database server/clients on LocalTalk network to EtherTalk network.
