Appearance: These magical arrows can immediately be identified as nonstandard arows. The
shaft is a deep gloss black with sickly yellow runes. The head is cylindrical
and tapered, but does not terminate in a pointed tip; it is on the bulbous
side. The feathers are black, but have a strange, irridescent appearance. These
arows almost always come in groups of three.
Type: Arrows +3
Special Abilities: These arrows are plus 3 to hit, but inflict NO damage. These arrows dissipate
upon contact with its target (Once fired, these arows are always irretrievable;
they disappear upon contact with anything if fired). Upon hitting a target
(armored or otherwise), they will always cause a disease at random. The disease
will always be terminal, and will cause death within 1-12 weeks. Roll randomly
to decide which body part is affected, but the disease is always terminal.
The resulting disease can only be cured by a cure disease spell casted by a
least a 7th level cleric, and even then must re-administered every week for the
duration of the disease. If the spell is not recast on the afflicted person,
the time before death is halved ( the disease effects speed up).

Notes:
An ideal assassination weapon. If shot at night, observers will NOT see the
arrow at all. If shot during the day, they will only see the arrow hit and then
disappear into thin air -- no trace of the weapon. The disease will begin
slowly at first and then rapidly accelerate its infection, debilitating the
host in a very short period of time.
