Whips

BloodWhip

Forged: Tylak
Enchanted: Mad Mage
Appearance: Black Leather Whips with silver tipped ends
Type: Whips +1
Special Abilities:
Unhealing Wounds
Creator: Tarniku Kelos
Notes:

There are actually two of these whips. They were made by Tylak, a slave lord for the Mad Mage. The Mage gave the enchantments to the whips for the good service that Tylak gave him right before The Mad Mage killed him. The whips upon wounding someone will cause wounds that will not heal naturally. The victim keeps losing a hit point a round until some form of healing is done to them. Regeneration will also stop the wounds. Lycanthropes though can not regenerate from these wounds due to the silver tips. The whips are now in the possession of a Were-Wolverine also on the quest with the Cambion.

Lightning Whip

Forged: Unknown
Enchanted: Unknown
Appearance: This weapon appears to be a standard black leather whip, but the 'barb' at the end of the whip has a brilliant, electric blue finish.
Type: Standard Whip
Special Abilities: Upon contact with the target, the whip will deliver 1-2 hit points of damage, plus 3d6 electrical damage. Insulated characters will receive only 1d6 of electrical damage.

Once accelerated, if the whip is 'snapped' in the direction of an out of range target, the whip will release a stroke of 4d6 lightning. Doing so drains one charge. The whip has a total of 10 charges.
If the whip is used to entangle someone or something, the target will sustain only 2d6 hit points upon contact, but an additional 1d6 hit points per round until disentangled; obviously, he will not be able to free himself due to the disruption of the nervous system.

Creator: Chad Okumura
Notes: The weapon can only be recharged by soaking it overnight in the blood of one of the following creatures on the night of full moon: a blue dragon, a storm giant or a behir. One charge will be restored for every 10 hit points the creature had. The creature need not be slain, but a sufficient amount of blood is required (at least one gallon). Once the blood is used in this way, it becomes useless and may not be used again for that purpose.
